Built in the mid-1970s, the 480-square-foot structure housed both Bill's pottery area and Ruth's painting space. They worked there together for many years.

In the 1990s, Ruth traveled on the "Art Show Circuit" and showed in many Florida galleries. She spent much of her career traveling the United States with a home base in Florida. She returned to Morristown in the summers from 2000 onward.

After Ruth's passing in 2003, the studio became a full pottery and ceramic sculpture space for Bill. At 90, he is still creating.

Lauren, their daughter and an art teacher of 25 years, is now reclaiming most of the space for painting and teaching.
